We are blessed that you, our friends and visitors, are visiting our web site and we pray that God will pour out of His spirit a blessing upon you. ABOUT US
Better Life Church Of God In Christ was founded in May 1993 by Elder Duane S. McNair, Sr., along with his wife, Missionary Velma F. McNair; and sons, Elder Duane S. McNair, Jr. and Elder Jonathan Lee McNair, Sr. The first church was located at 2210 Myers Road, a Masonic lodge in the South Norfolk section of Chesapeake, Virginia. In 2000, the Lord blessed Better Life Church to purchase a permanent church home at 2101 Atlantic Avenue, Chesapeake, Virginia. It was indeed a joyous day, June 20, 2000; we paraded from our old home to our new home. We are now located at the most traveled intersection in Chesapeake, at the corners of Battlefield Boulevard, Campostella Road, and Atlantic Avenue! To God be the Glory!..
Steps to Salvation
Salvation (deliverance from sin) is the most important thing in the world, both now and hereafter. If you are not saved, nothing else really matters. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ…
